Sin from God’s perspective is defined as: “my claim to my right to myself.”
·      When I believe that I have a right, I’ve already been manipulated for control by the thief who comes to steal, kill and destroy my FAITH.
·      Jesus gives us Life, not rights. He gives Life in return for willingness to give Him complete right to our heart, soul, mind, and strength!
·      All of our challenges, problems, and sufferings are the evident fruit that we have claimed our right to ourselves. To do this is a direct rejection of God as Lord of our lives.
 
4 Choices we can make that will effectively allow the Holy Spirit to demonstrate Life in us and through us:
 
1.   Choose an intimate relationship with Jesus
2.   Allow Jesus to train and discipline you
3.   Remain under Jesus’ Authority
4.   Let Jesus take away our sin
