Surrender Is the Beginning

by | Mar 31, 2026

Surrender is not an action we visit occasionally—it is the attitude that keeps us aligned, joined, and alive in God. Living for Jesus is not behavior modification; it is a posture of the heart. Faith does not begin where things make sense—it begins where we yield. Faith begins with surrender.

We are invited by the Holy Spirit to walk with Him patiently and obedient—not when it is convenient or understandable, but simply because He has spoken. This is the life of faith: trusting beyond understanding and obeying beyond comfort.

Our lives speak before our words ever do. When our lives reflect Christ, our words carry authority. When it does not, even truth sounds empty. True influence is not rooted in knowledge, position, or gifting—it flows from a surrendered life. A life that listens before speaking, obeys without hesitation, and yields without reservation becomes a vessel through which God is revealed. Where God is truly reverenced, His presence is made manifest.
