What if Jesus was revealing something much deeper than simply believing for an outcome? What if He was showing us that when we listen to and follow His voice, His Kingdom is free to flow in us and through us?
When life becomes overwhelming—health challenges, relationship struggles, financial pressure, disappointments, and the constant noise of culture—it becomes easy to listen to every voice except His. We often give our attention to fear, worry, religious opinions, social influences, and human reasoning, while the voice of Jesus quietly invites us to trust and follow Him.
The Kingdom of God is not merely a future destination; it is the rule and reign of Christ expressed in and through surrendered sons and daughters. As we listen to Him and follow His leading:
1. His peace replaces anxiety,
2. His wisdom overcomes confusion,
3. His love conquers offense, and
4. His life becomes visible through our lives.
The question is not simply, “Do I believe?” The deeper question is, “Whose voice am I listening to and following?”
I want to encourage you to honestly reconsider the voices you have been allowing to influence your thinking. Some of them sound right. Some of them even sound spiritual. But every voice produces fruit.
Take a moment and look at the evidence. Is what you’re listening to producing the life, peace, freedom, and righteousness of God’s Kingdom? Or is it producing fear, frustration, confusion, worry, and striving?
Jesus said His sheep hear His voice, He knows them and they follow Him. When we walk with Him, His Kingdom becomes evident in our lives—not through effort, but through surrendered trust and obedience to His Spirit leading.
The fruit always reveals the voice we’ve been following.
