The fear of the Lord is God’s treasure in us because it keeps our hearts humble, our ears tuned to His voice, and our lives anchored in His truth.
The fear of the Lord is the greatest treasure God can develop in us as born-again believers. It is not fear that makes us run from Him; rather, it is a holy awe that keeps us focused on His voice and passionately following Him.
Real wisdom does not begin with information, talent, success, or experience. It begins when our hearts become deeply aware of who God is, what He values, and how much we need His voice leading our lives.
King Solomon shows us both sides of this truth. When he honored God, he walked in wisdom, peace, influence, and blessing. But when he began trusting his own wisdom more than God’s voice, his life became empty, distracted, and divided. At the end, Solomon came back to one conclusion: fear God and obey Him—this is the whole purpose of life.
Holy fear keeps us anchored. It guards our heart from pride, protects us from deception, and reminds us that Life is not about proving ourselves, pleasing people, or building our own name. Our life is about belonging to God, hearing His voice, allowing Him to know us, and walking in His truth.
Today's Prayer
Jesus, develop holy fear in our hearts. Teach us to treasure Your presence and Your Voice above everything else. Keep us from drifting into pride, distraction, or self-reliance. Anchor us in Your wisdom, align us with Your purpose, and form us into Your Christ image. In Your name, Jesus, Amen

Realign yourself and your schedule by treasuring His presence, honoring His voice above your own understanding, and walking in holy awe by keeping your heart surrendered, focused, and obedient to Him in each present moment.
