The true test of our spirituality (loving Jesus by feeding His sheep; loving as He loved us) occurs when we come up against injustice, degradation, ingratitude, and turmoil, all of which have the tendency to make us spiritually complacent
The real danger in spiritual complacency is that we become calloused to Holy Spirit conviction that supports His leading. Complacency encourages our attention toward spiritual retirement from Christ mission in the world.
Being challenged and held accountable by those who allow the Holy Spirit to work through them is of utmost importance to our spiritual development.
Proverbs 27:17 TPT “It takes a grinding wheel to sharpen a blade, and so one person sharpens the character of another.”
