Good Things or God Things?

Remain focused today on who you are in Christ. As His son and daughter, you are powerful and become His platform to fulfill His Will and mission. Remember, Jesus desires His unconditional love to be returned to Him with passion. He wants honeymoon with His Bride, healthy relationship with His people. Yet for many who claim covenant with Him, their love has conditions attached to it. God’s honeymoon never truly materializes. The depth and health of the relationship between His sons and daughters ultimately determines the kind of unconditional love and “honeymoon” they offer Him.

It is sobering to recognize the difference between a son and daughter of God and someone operating in witchcraft and sorcery. Witches and sorcerers often appear to do many good things — but good things are not always God things.

A true son and daughter of God is not defined by doing what merely appears good, but by doing what God Himself is leading.

Sons and daughters live to do what the Father is doing. In contrast, witchcraft, sorcery, and manipulation can look very spiritual while producing division, offense, and confusion. These influences often cloak themselves in religious language and claim loyalty to Jesus, yet they sow discord and drama while appearing righteous.

If we are honest, every one of us has been influenced by this same human-centered mindset. It began with our first parents — Adam and Eve. Humanity learned how to live from their altar of self-will: mixing our own reasoning with spirituality, creating religious activity without true surrender to God.

So, we must ask an important question: If something is a good thing but not a God thing, what is it?

When something does not originate from God, it inevitably opens the door to darkness — to the subtle influence of satan, to religion without surrender, and to activity that looks righteous but lacks the life of Christ.

This is why discernment is so important. Much of what appears spiritual can actually be human effort dressed in religious clothing. Sons and daughters of God learn to recognize the difference — choosing not merely what is good, but what is truly from God. God Speed to you today!

Led in Order to Lead

Our focusing should not be on leading people, but rather on solely being led by the Holy Spirit. True leadership is not born of ambition — it is born from surrender. Only the Holy Spirit can mold our heart and attitude so that we can effectively lead others to Christ....
