- Lots of Christians enter into a calisthenic prayer full of “NO’S” present in their asking, seeking and knocking to God. This kind of praying looks good and honest but we’re just telling lies to ourselves and to God.
- He’s not interested in us asking Him for His Will on something when we’ve already said “No” to part of it.
(NLT) John 1:14
- No one can look at Jesus and say that He came down from heaven while trying to hold on to the comforts of heaven.
- Jesus descended so that we could ascend!
- The more we see Him, the more we ascend into our identity experientially. Seeing Jesus moves you into a better you every day.
- Jesus designed you to discover what has always been in you and then create from it! All things are possible to them that believe.
Jesus is above everything in our lives that we give significance. He’s above the things we allow fear to work through:
- The Economy
- Terrorism
- The Pandemic
- Political Social Unrest etc… If you’re afraid, lift your head up! Behold Him! You’ll put these things under your feet.

- Jesus wants to clothe us in righteousness. We can’t cover our own shame and guilt. I can’t do anything to measure up to His goodness. I can only EXPERIENCE His goodness!
- Trying to be a good person only gives the devil more ammunition to defeat us with.
