Part 1: Why The Chaos?
Why the Chaos?
Date: 30 May 2021
Speaker: Duane Lowe
Addressing our fears is key to development as children of God and the outflow of the anointing / Jesus working His Will through us.
(NLT) Galatians 6:7
Spending time listening for the Holy Spirit’s direction encourages us to be ready to move and follow His example.
This dynamic encourages us to know we’re:
- Never Alone
- Never Stuck
Pressure reveals what the substance of a thing is. It brings out the truth about a thing.
Intensive Training reveals who we really are!
- Equip classes / getting equipped is a mandate for all who step into their identity as world changers.
Our highest act of worship to God is trust.
We limit the Kingdom of God working through us as “co-creating” sons when we:
- Need Formulas and predictability.
- Refuse to Confess / Truth Tell
- Experience Burnout
- Are Motivated by Trouble and Chaos
To co-create with Jesus, it starts in your heart, then it gets a hold of those who are around you so that we can impact our world…
(NLT) Matthew 7:13
How are you limiting the Kingdom of God in your life:
- Do you need your predictable?
- Do you need to be honest with God?
- Address your burnout / attitude today.
- How ready are you to embrace the chaos and trouble around you?
Part 2: War and Peace
War & Peace
Date: 06 June 2021
Speaker: Duane Lowe
(NLT) James 4:1-3
Everyone has been engaged in a level of war at some point and you may be in one presently.
Why do wars and quarrels exist?
Quarreling exists because I’m not getting what I want!
- Symptom: I covet the need to be credited, to be in control or charge!
- Excuse: I’m not okay and it’s your fault!
(NLT) Jude 1:16
How do we stop this war?
- Start with my own conflict God!
Vertical conflict with God is what causes horizontal conflict with those around us!
(NLT) 1Peter1:14
A person filled with conflict can only reproduce conflict in their:
- Marriage
- Neighborhood
- Community
- Country
- World
If we’re honest with ourselves, we don’t want to hear what God wants to do with the person that makes our life miserable!
Jesus always wants us to “love one another.” Not just the one’s we want to love, especially the ones we don’t want to love. T
2. Surrender
(NLT) Acts 2:4-8
3. Be Filled with Love
(NLT) John 15:11
(NLT) Psalms 23:5
Jesus is setting us up to be involved in the impossible and we can only miss our opportunities because we fear entering “the door / entrance” that leads us to our fulfillment as children of God.
When we’re at peace with the chaos and strife around us, we can bring peace to those in our path who are at war with chaos and strife in their lives. This is how we demonstrate our identity of dominion, power and authority.
- Where am I at war inside?
- Where is the conflict that goes unresolved in me and others day after day after day?
- As you surrender, ask Jesus to show you what to do.
