To a father who was visibly perplexed and after a miracle for his son: Mark 9:23 KJV “Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.”
What if Jesus was revealing something much deeper than simply believing for an outcome? What if He was showing us that when we listen to and follow His voice, His Kingdom is free to flow in us and through us?
When life becomes overwhelming—health challenges, relationship struggles, financial pressure, disappointments, and the constant noise of culture—it becomes easy to listen to every voice except His. We often give our attention to fear, worry, religious opinions, social influences, and human reasoning, while the voice of Jesus quietly invites us to trust and follow Him.
The Kingdom of God is not merely a future destination; it is the rule and reign of Christ expressed in and through His surrendered sons and daughters. As we listen to Him and follow His leading, His peace replaces anxiety, His wisdom overcomes confusion,
His love conquers offense, and His life becomes visible through our lives.
The question is not simply, “Do I believe?” The deeper question is, “Whose voice am I listening to and following?” The Truth is: Discipleship is not proven by what we know. It is revealed by WHO we follow. The fruit of the voice we follow is always evident.
