Jesus possessed every right to glory. Every right to honor. Every right to worship.
• Yet He emptied Himself.
• He took the lowest place.
• He became a servant.
• He humbled Himself even to death on a cross.
Leadership in God’s Kingdom always moves downward before it moves upward.
• The world climbs. Jesus descends.
• The world seeks recognition. Jesus embraces obscurity.
• The world seeks position. Jesus seeks obedience.
The Kingdom of God reverses every worldly definition of greatness.
